Mori no Terasu
A site for a forest lodge in Akaigawa, Hokkaido, rented as a whole house for 1 to 40 guests, in English and Japanese. A client project built with AI agents; I directed the design, the content, and the quality checks.
- My role
- Gathered the requirements and confirmed facts, directed the design and the content in two languages, then checked the result.

The challenge
The lodge is rented as one whole house, and the site is written for group organisers: families, ski clubs, friends, or company events. They need to grasp capacity, location, and how to ask about dates quickly, in English or Japanese.
My decisions
- Two languages (English, Japanese), with the Japanese text as the source of facts
- Guest counter from 1 to 40: the chosen number carries straight into the form
- A 170 cm snow gauge and a distance map to stations and airports, from the village's official data
- An honest form: while it isn't connected, the page says so and prepares the details to copy, plus phone and Instagram
- Facilities that aren't ready are labelled, e.g. the sauna is “planned”; automated tests stop it from being called “available”
- A list of sample content awaiting the owner's confirmation and a project decision log, so the handover is clear
Role of AI Built with AI agents on 28–30 Oct 2026. I set the design direction, checked the content in two languages, and tested the pages. Automated tests guard the confirmed facts and make sure no prices are published before the owner confirms them.
Limits
Pre-launch screenshots; sections that still use sample content are not shown.
